Boquete offers you lots of hikes. There are all kinds for all kinds of people. Read a bit more and find out which one its for you!

Pipeline trail: an easy family trail. Perfect for bird watching and enjoying Panama's biodiversity in a relaxing and peaceful way. Ideal for children. You will enjoy the view of a small and beautiful waterfall at the end of the trail.

Quetzal Trail: It is one of the most beautiful trails. You can walk it from Boquete to Cerro Punta (6 km) or the opposite. Usually people walk from Boquete to Cerro Punta where once there they get to know the town, eat something and return to Boquete by transport. Of high difficulty, recommended for people with experience in hiking.

3 Lost Waterfalls: Allows you to experience 3 different and unique waterfalls on a beautiful path into nature. In two of these waterfalls you can enjoy an invigorating bath in its fresh and clear waters. If you are looking for a walk that is not extremely difficult but not for beginners, this one is for you.

Volcán Barú: With an altitude of 3,475 meters, Panama's only volcano is its highest point. It is located inside a national park where during your hike to the top you will see incredible things, from finding yourself in the rainforest to the biodiversity that has been there for millions of years. Recommended only for fit people and experts in hiking, because the road is rocky, swampy, almost always uphill and with a fairly cold climate. It has a duration of approximately 5 hours towards the top and 4 hours descending. Once up if you climb during the season indicated, you can see the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea.

Coffee Tour

Panama coffee is considered among the best for the past 10 years. So if you come to Boquete you shouldn't miss a coffee plantation. Prepare your senses for a complete experience! On the coffee tour you will learn all about the coffee process. From how they grow it to roasting it yourself, grinding it and tasting it. 

You will have the chance to taste the best coffees in the world first hand and have a unique experience.

Honey Tour

The honey house in Boquete offers a coffee plantation and special gardens for pollinators and bees, where the use of chemicals is excluded. The tour includes a walk through the farm, where you will learn about the bees, the different types and their history in Panama. You will see the process used to export the honey and visit part of the factory. You will take a honey tasting class and you will be able to taste the different flavors of honey offered by the province of Chiriquí.

Horseback Riding

Horseback riding in Boquete will allow you to experience beautiful scenarios, from views of the volcano to the peaks of Chiriquí, getting to know the mountains surrounding the peaceful town of Boquete or enjoying the view of the Pacific Ocean in the highlands.
